4th of July fun & a fat lip!

We had a lot of fun this 4th. As you know my parents are building a house in Tanglewood so we attended their parade! It was fantastic! Morgan picked up a ton of candy. They had a cookout, a bake sale, a book sale, turtle races, a jumper and more. I bought some old movies at the book sale, christian cartoons that Caleb & I watched as a child. (Anyone else watch Super Book growing up? Remember Gizmo the robot?)I also got Jack & the beanstalk with Abbott & Costello(Morgan watches it at her Opa & Noni's so now we have our own!) After the Tanglewood festivities my Mom, Sister & I took the babies to the fair on the square & I got a new purse/diaper bag. I love it! Don't you just love buying something and then feeling all excited about it, I do! ( I rarely buy myself things my money usually goes to the girls, so this was a treat) OKAY HERE COME THE PICTURES!

Morgan & Claire watching the Parade.
Here they are playing games at Tanglewood, aren't they beautiful!

Here are Caleb & I (at our friends house) getting ready to watch fireworks!

Okay so here is the fat lip part of the story. Morgan was running in our friends back yard tripped on the bottom of the swing set and hit her face on a wooden support beam. She poured blood & I thought she had busted out a tooth but thankfully she only (and I type that reluctantly) busted both lips and her nose was bleeding.
Here is the injured girl! Pitiful huh.
She took it like a trooper and was up playing again in 5 minutes. It didn't ruin her night! If only we could all handle crisis this well. lol.

Here are me & the girls waiting for fireworks. See Morgan's fat smile. I guess we had 2 firsts this year, Claire's first 4th of July & Morgan's first fat lip!
